Sociologists for Trans Justice (S4TJ) held its second forum on Sunday, August 13, at the 2017 ASA Annual Meeting in Montreal. During the forum, we took time to collectively reflect on, and celebrate, the progress we’ve made over the course of our inaugural year. Looking ahead to new and ongoing projects, we redefined task committees and their agendas for the 2017-2018 calendar year, and we are already preparing for our first regular session in trans studies at ASA in 2018 (Philadelphia).
